Now Watching

I never thought I would get to this point in a million years but here I am, at the Apple store asking the sales guy to sell me a Mac laptop. How did I get here? It's a semi-interesting story... In my haste to build a podcast studio for my clients, I forget to look into the actual procedure for making a podcast on a PC. Now, recording and exporting mp3 files is one thing but my clients want "enhanced podcasts" with streaming images embedded into the audio file. One would think that the process for doing this would be pretty standard, but it is incredibly difficult on a PC. Whereas on a Mac, it's a simple click & drag into Garage Band. So, off to the Apple store I go and find myself asking newbie questions to the salesman. I walk out with a small MacBook and begin my journey. Fast forward 2 weeks and I have completely fallen love. Everything is so easy and fun to explore. I'm trying to figure out if it's just the "new car" mentality or if it truly is easier, but I utter the words "Wow, My next personal laptop will most likely be  a Mac ... When my PC laptop dies." Three days later, guess what? Poof! up in smoke goes my PC laptop and I am standing back at the Apple store in front of the display once again. Well, I am semi-proud (still feeling a little like a traitor) to say that I am the owner of a brand spanking new MacBook Pro 17" and I have to say that it has been blissful so far. I will keep you posted as to my discoveries as I make them. Until then, happy computing and we'll talk soon! - Brent
