Once again, I have proven my truly astounding level of forgetfulness today. I spend most of my days lunking myself from meeting to meeting for various sorts of things. It seemed as though today, that all I could think about was how I wanted to stop everything and relax for a minute in the go, go, go of my day. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy my work (not so much the meetings) but, sometimes, the day drags on and on seemingly forever. Not to be outdone, I head across the street (that brings up a whole different topic) to another Starbucks and find the same thing. Two blocks down, same thing! What in the heck? It’s now 10am and the “urgent” issue is in desperate need of attention. Last chance… Desert Ridge. Michelle used to work at the Starbucks there and I think I remember her talking about it being moderate in the mornings. Besides, I could sit in the courtyard and get job done if need be. (more…)
